The scene was set. It had been a relaxing day. The kids were playing. We
were in pjs all day. I got my workout done. We were coming up on dinner
time, which meant bed time was around the corner, which meant that my
husband and I could ring in the New Year with some wine, some letter
writing to our future selves, and some quiet time watching a movie…
